Bobbie Burns Lodge is suited to experienced skiers, but that doesn’t mean your non Heli-Skiing partner won’t have plenty to keep them occupied. The remote wilderness lends itself to snowshoeing adventures and cross-country skiing while the lodge overall lends itself to R&R.

- What does the first day look like?
Upon your arrival at our wilderness lodge take some time to explore the lodge and to get settled into your room. At 11:30 am we will meet by the fireplace in the living room area for a briefing on the lodge and heli-skiing programs for the week. Before departing for an afternoon of skiing/riding, our experienced guides will review helicopter safety procdures as well as provide thorough transceiver and avalanche rescue training. After safety training is finished, Group One will leave immediately from the helipad.
- What kind of terrain can I expect? What's the pace of skiing?
At Bobbie Burns, there is massive vertical and nonstop runs in the high alpine, and wide open glaciers and perfectly spaced tree runs with scenic runs spanning the terrain of both the Purcell and Selkirk Mountains.
Skiing at the Bobbie Burns is bold, challenging and fast paced.
- How do I get to the Bobbie Burns Lodge?
There are a number of ways you can get to the lodge. If you want to ride in one of the CMH coaches, you can download our most up-to-date Arrival/Departure Travel Information PDF from our Transportation page. If you’d prefer to drive yourself to the helipad, download our self-driving map. Please note that self-drivers must arrive at the CMH Bobbie Burns helipad by 09:30 MT (08:30 PT).

- Is there Wi-Fi/cell service at the lodge? Do you have phones at the lodges?
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge, as well as a computer area that you can use for internet browsing. Phones can be found in the computer area, and long-distance calling cards are available for purchase in our retail shop.
- How do I cancel my trip?

- Do I have to pay a single supplement if I am traveling alone?
You are not required to pay a single supplement if you are a solo traveller; however, if you want to confirm a single room, you will need to pay an upgrade fee, which varies by lodge.
